A photographer, designer, and musician, Jason Travis is creative across the board. While versatile in his abilities, photography plays a significant role in his life, and in the winter of 2007, Jason embarked on a personal project aptly named Persona. What began as an experiment has now grown into a series containing over 300 unique diptychs. By photographing an individual and the items he or she carries with them, Jason reveals a portion of their identity. Things normally kept private in the folds of a bag are made spectacle, giving insight into each person’s style, interests & personality. “Everyone that lets me take their photograph lets me share a slice of their life. Learning about my subjects through glimpses at their daily essentials gives me a direct line into their lives. Accompanied by conversation, I always get a unique story as well.”

MBFWA 2013 Photo Diary: Ollie Henderson
We gave Ollie Henderson a Fuji Instax Mini 8 camera and here are the glorious results from her first two days at Fashion Week. Even though she is really good at modeling, we think she'd make a pretty awesome photographer too.
From hanging out backstage at Romance Was Born with Anna Plunkett, to taking unfairly attractive selfies with fellow models, to capturing a certain photographer (read: Jack Salkild) exploiting the complimentary toasted sandwiches at the VIP bar, here is what happens behind-the-scenes from a model's perspective.
Photo Diary: Rachel Rutt
Rachel Rutt has stylist and knitter extraordinaire on her CV next to the bit that says World Famous Model and now she can also add photographer to this growing list of extracurricular activities. We presented her with a Fuji Instax Mini 8 camera at the start of Fashion Week and she presented us with these photos. They are pretty much the greatest things ever.
Photo Diary: Maddison Brown
16-year-old model Maddison Brown has been a legit star this season, walking in approximately ten shows per second. She's got an incredible runway presence so it's no surprise. We were interested in what goes on behind-the-scenes, so we hooked Maddie up with a Fuji Instax Mini 8 camera. Bask in the glory.
Model One-On-One: Jacob Hankin @ IMG
Hoxton Park boy Jacob Hankin's first encounter with the menswear runway at From Britten was MINDBLOWING. Jacob was scouted at Future Music Festival. He likes to unwind with episodes of Swamp People and My Kitchen Rules. He kills time backstage acting a fool with co-models Zach Grenenger, Nathaniel Visser and Jordan Barrett. Jacob quit his day job and is set to make it rain in 2013.
